Mary is the first to be brought back to life by Love, right after her Son. According to tradition, Mary died in a dream to be resurrected and passed away in flesh to this reality that we call Heaven. This is also the way for us.
“Whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”
(Luke 24:9)
Let us open ourselves to the Holy Spirit so that he can ultimately transform us, like Mary, into children of light, resurrected sons and daughters. It doesn’t have to mean that we will have to leave, but maybe we will.
The Risen One left us so that we would receive the Holy Spirit, that He might make the final transformation in us.
“The earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:19, 29)
Mary, let victory come to us in your way, as some people persistently expect it.
Who among us, Christians is looking for a resurrection, a rebirth by the Spirit? Who wants to be transformed like Christ on Mount Tabor? Are our eyes focused on what is high or with our heads down, we can barely drag our feet?
