Station I – Jesus is Condemned to Death
We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You, because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
Jesus Christ.
God made Man.
Man made God.
Our Way, the Truth about us, and our Life. He came for this: to bear witness to this Truth and to give His life for it.
Last evening, He prayed to the Father for us: "That they may be one, as We are one."
Unity with the Father, which gives birth to many other fruits.
"Sanctify them in the truth."
Do you bear witness to the Truth with your life?
How often do you condemn the God within you to death?
Who suffered the wounds for us, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us!
Station II – Jesus Takes Up the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
Father, I accept this cross,
this pain of existing in a world that despises You and desires Your death.
The pain of universal ignorance of You.
Let us accept our crosses in trust.
Father, not what I will, but what You will!
Christ, lead us!
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station III – Jesus Falls the First Time Under the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
I fall because Christ is too weak within me.
Too little life flowing from the Body.
Too little life flowing from the Spirit.
Love! Raise me up!
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station IV – Jesus Meets His Mother
We adore You, O Christ,…
Two hearts, one pain.
United in Love, clothed in the Holy Spirit.
Mother, intercede for us now
and in the hour of our death.
Who suffered the wounds for us, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us!
And You, who suffered with Him, O Mother of Sorrows, pray with us.
Station V – Simon of Cyrene Helps Jesus Carry the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
Christ in the convict. Christ in the beggar. Christ in the drunkard.
Christ in your greatest sinner.
Will you carry their cross for a moment?
Will you do it out of Love, or out of compulsion?
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
Christ, help us to help!
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station VI – Veronica Wipes the Face of the Lord
We adore You, O Christ,…
The meeting of Truth with the material that absorbs.
Christ, imprint Your Image in our hearts,
through wiping against Your Passion and the gift of Your Spirit.
Któryś za nas cierpiał rany Jezu Chryste, zmiłuj się nad nami!
Station VII – Jesus Falls the Second Time Under the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
The image of God with so many flaws. Dehumanized.
Sometimes they are so heavy that the image becomes completely illegible.
Two columns, two supports, two sources of Life...
abandoned once again.
Infinite Love, have mercy on us sinners.
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station VIII – Jesus Comforts the Weeping Women
We adore You, O Christ,…
Wisdom comes from the knowledge of Truth. Without it, we walk in darkness.
Do you know it?
Are you able to weep over your own insufficient knowledge of it, and that of your loved ones?
For if the green wood is treated this way, what will happen to the dry wood?
Do you have any green leaves?
Do you cooperate with the Tender Gardener?
Are you faithful in small things?
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station IX – Jesus Falls the Third Time Under the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
How often do you deface His image within yourself?
Perfection is not the goal.
It is the fruit of abiding in the True Vine.
Rise in me, Christ! Rise, Lord!
Without You, this ground is so seductive! One could lie there passively forever.
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station X – Jesus is Stripped of His Garments
We adore You, O Christ,…
God completely stripped, yet possessing Everything.
Humiliated so that we might discover our own dignity.
Inalienable, undeserved, imperishable.
We are not slaves of sin, but heirs of the Kingdom.
Strip us, Lord, so that You may be All in us.
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station XI – Jesus is Nailed to the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
God limited.
God helpless before our free will.
Nailed to the Cross by our choices.
God who desires... to cast the Fire of the Holy Spirit upon the world. Desiring Life for us.
He desires!
I desire!
Do you also desire?
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station XII – Jesus Dies on the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
You have killed my ego within You,
so that Your Spirit might bestow upon me the abundance of Life.
With You, we die.
With You, we shall live.
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station XIII – Jesus is Taken Down from the Cross
We adore You, O Christ,…
The Body of the Lord.
Water and Blood.
The Gift of Life and the Open Heart of God.
"And for them I consecrate myself, so that they also may be sanctified in the truth."
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Station XIV – Jesus is Laid in the Tomb
We adore You, O Christ,…
Will God remain dead within you?
Will you allow Him, through faith and conversion, to rise again?
"It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me."
Your departure, Christ, is useful for us,
so that the One who Gives Life may dwell in us.
Your Body and Your Spirit in earthen vessels.
Rise in us from the dead!
Live in Us!
Who suffered the wounds for us …
Closing Prayer
Christ, You have reconciled us to the Father.
You have torn the veil that separated us from Him.
“As You sent Me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.”
Use us in the ministry of reconciliation!
